#641. Latest Acquisition: LV Speedy 30

In Damier Ebene canvas. Thank you, Ebay!

#640. Sea of Shoes

I haven't been feeling very inspired lately, but I know one girl who can always give me fresh ideas. Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes is quite possibly the most innovative fashion blogger I've ever seen.  She and her mother have the most incredible collection of shoes, clothes and accessories. I could never pull off half of her looks, but that's what makes her special. In addition, the photography on her blog is so gorgeous, it's magazine worthy. Did I mention she's only 18?

#639. Where are you from?

Google Analytics is the most wonderful tool. I use it to see how many readers I have per day, among other things. What fascinates me most is where my readers are from. I have readers from 5 continents and 54 countries. My top 10 countries are as follows:

1. United States (duh.)
2. Singapore (surprising!)
3. Canada
4. United Kingdom
5. Australia
6. Germany
7. France
8. Denmark
9. Netherlands
10. Spain

Within the United States, I have readers from all but 2 states. South Dakotans and Montanans must not be into blogs. My top10 states are as follows:

1. Virginia
2. Kentucky
3. District of Columbia
4. Tennessee
5. North Carolina
6. New York
7. California
8. Texas
9. West Virginia
10. Florida

My home state is #9! Pathetic!

Do most of you fall into one of the top 10's? If not, where are you from? I'm curious!

#637. J'aime mon carré

Hermès has launched a new campaign called J'aime mon carré (I love my square). Soon, there will be a standalone website - jaimemoncarre.com - which will feature instructions on how to wear Hermès scarves.  Hermès has also teamed with colette to produce a new line of brightly patterned scarves.  C'est fabuleux, non?

RE: #338. Lilly Loves Sororities

Delta Delta Delta

Lilly has a brand new sorority collection. Only four sororities have been featured so far, but I am hopeful there are more sorority prints to come. It would be so easy for Lilly to make an Alpha Omicron Pi print using the WWF panda print! Just change the pink to red!

#636. A Glimpse of Fall Lilly

Love it! What do you think? The photo shoot with the neon backgrounds is fabulous as well!

#28. Not Fabulous: Comic Sans

I've never been a big fan of Comic Sans. I've always thought the font looked juvenile. This morning, I saw the above photo on boingboing. I have to admit, I agree with the second sign, apart from the incorrect capitalization of "lemonade stand." Does anyone disagree? Thoughts?
On a separate note, the use of multiple exclamation marks is also inappropriate. I occasionally use two or three exclamation marks in emails with friends and family, but I would never do so in a formal setting. I'm a self-proclaimed grammar Nazi, but I know I make mistakes on a daily/weekly basis. Who doesn't?

#635. Inception

I saw Inception on Sunday afternoon and was blown away. The film is intensely detailed and slightly overwhelming, but very enjoyable. Has anyone else seen it? What did you think? I can't wait to see more of Ellen Page. She's great!

#634. Emory & James

Getting married? Have a friend or family member who is getting married? This platter from Emory & James is a great gift idea! Instead of making a scrapbook of save the dates, shower invitations, and other wedding paper, make a platter! This idea also works for birth announcements, bid day and initiation gifts, graduation announcements, ticket stubs, etc!

#633. The Paper Menu

I don't make cupcakes very often, but I am dying for The Paper Menu's cupcake bands. They are ADORABLE!

#632. Knot Clothing

From the Knot Clothing website:

Every belt that we produce is made of the finest and most durable ribbon fabric right here in New England. Each design is directly inspired by friends and family, and drawn while daydreaming about nine holes before sunset or planning that holiday weekend on the island. I hope you enjoy each belts' quality and attention to detail, as they will be sure to make a long lasting impression at any party or night out at your favorite dockside watering hole!

#630. Bambie and Family

There is a family of deer (a herd?) that frequents my yard. Sometimes when I'm on my way to work, they greet me at the front door. These deer are amazingly calm and unafraid. I'm not a PETA person, but I think they're an adorable little family. The two fawns and their mama are so pretty! Is it strange to think that deer are dainty and darling? I know many of you would rather see them nailed to your wall or in the form of jerky...
