#882. Sun and Stripes

#881. The Importance of Drug Court

I'm a big proponent of drug court. There are 14 drug courts in Virginia, funded by the General Assembly. Fortunately, the General Assembly just approved another year of funding.
Roanoke had one of the first drug courts in Virginia. Those folks created a video called "The Arrest is Only the Beginning: How Virginia Drug Courts Succeed," which recently won a Telly award for television documentary. The video is long, but it's worth the watch.

#879. Blue and White Wares

I am crazy for ginger jars and blue and white wares. "Blue and white wares" designate white pottery and porcelain decorated under the glaze with a blue pigment, usually cobalt oxide. The decoration is typically applied by hand. The development of blue and white ware began in 14th century China. For Christmas, I received traditional blue and white dinnerware, which I love. Wisteria has some wonderful blue and white wares right now!

#875. I Dig the Buff

Martin Kaymer is the new No.1 golfer, according to the Official World Golf Rankings, and the most stylish player at the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Champtionship in Tuscon. He's been sporting the Black Fly UV Buff, which I think is pretty cool. I spot a new trend!

#872. Mrs.O's Stylist

My lovely sorority sister, Lauren, alerted me to the fact that Mrs. O has a new stylist who happens to be a fellow Vandy grad! 29-year-old Meredith Koop has taken over the role of stylist to the First Lady from Chicago retailer Ikram Goldman. What a fabulous job!

RE: #825. Winter Blues? - Neon Continued

Remember the J.Crew Pin Fringe Flats featured here? Recently, I've noticed a trend in gray & neon combination clothing. Diane von Furstenburg and Hervé Léger have designed dresses featuring this combination. Not a fan? There are many ways to embrace this trend. For example, wear a gray dress with a neon belt, or vice versa.

#871. Julianne Moore for Talbots

I just saw these images on Habitually Chic and I am in love! Julianne Moore looks so lovely and chic. Check out all of the looks here
